The famous frog joke

Of all the time I spent behind the microphone at the ABC, the few minutes I spent with Kerry O’Keeffe at the Gabba during the one-day final between Australia and Sri Lanka in 2006 were certainly the funniest. Kerry decided to read out a joke that had been sent in by a listener. The result was pure mayhem!

Mmm ... a knee injury will sideline Buddy Franklin for 3-4 weeks.
Requires 45 goals to reach 1000.
Best case scenario is he will play another 14 matches and require 3.2 goals per game.
This season he has kicked 11 in three games.
Will be a tight run race if he remains fit 🤞

Thoughts with all those in Kalbarri and its surrounds ... the pictures of the devastation from cyclone Seroja are truly shocking 🙏
Interesting to see both Channel Seven and Fox Footy are continuing to commentate games outside Victoria from studios in Melbourne.
Done initially last year as a necessary COVID measure but I wonder now if it will largely be the future of sports broadcasting in AUS.
